My Magazine- For my Community Service magazine, the audience that I mainly target would be kids ranging from middle school kids who are at the age of 11-15 and can go all the way up to age 18 in high school. Most kids in high school will be attracted towards these magazines because they need the hours for different types of scholarships. The gender that the magazine was targeted towards was both female and male. Both genders can encounter the activities that are featured in the magazine for geography. The target audience is for any geographic region. Since its a December issue in a sunshine state, it shows both the warm and cold activities of community service such as Christmas caroling and decorating lights but also beach clean ups and walk athons. The income level for the magazine would depend on the issue. In the summer it wouldn't sell a lot since kids aren't in school but months like August through December would be a major income profit. For education level, like I said before, kids of middle school age and through high school would be the major target audience.
First Magazine- Our target audiences are similar by both teaching and building the community in a way. The Community Works Journal Magazine believes in building a community and showing educators, students, and community members through different events helping out within their community. They market their product by having the magazine being distributed across North America and all around the world and then distributed through those communities. They give a phone number and email on their website to reach them and for subscriptions. The form of media that was used was print and I would use also print and social media since social media has evolved and grew dramatically in the last century.
