Project selection- Film

Some aspects of film production that might've interested me based on my experiences in class and what I have learned are the creativity in making the film, the casting for the film, and clothing for the characters. In the  Ferris Bueller movie that we watched in class, we watched the authors discussion on how they chose the characters. They picked characters whether or not if they had charisma, they fit with the camera, and how they 'worked' with that character. This interests me because it is the experience in finding what characters help make the film/movie work and flow all together. When watching how they chose the characters clothing, they picked based off on how it popped on camera and if it really 'clicked'. This was also brought to my attention because you're using clothing to help show the characters personalities through creativity and fashion which is up my ally. For the creativity aspect of the film, we saw some log samples from past Aice Media Studies projects. When watching the films, the people who produced the film really showed there creativity outlook with one making a zombie film, or a girl being kidnapped. This really interested me because I am really big on creativity and thinking outside of the box. However there may be some challenges such as finding the people to make the film, getting everybody on the same page with the same ideas, and I like more individual work because I feel you can get more done faster.
